alpha Kappa Delta Phi is a nationwide, 45 chapter strong,
Asian-interest sorority. Although we are Asian-interest, we do not
discriminate and support a multicultural outlook. One of the goals
of the Binghamton chapter of alpha kappa delta phi is to break down
the barriers and promote awareness of different cultures to it's own
members and the student body. Working together with Sigma Beta Rho
and Sigma Iota alpha we are working to establish the Multicultural
Greek Fraternal Council.
We also work hard to promote our national philanthropy,
breast cancer. This past year we raised over $1,400 to donate to
the Susan g. Komen breast cancer foundation and this is just a small
part of what Binghamton alpha Kappa Delta Phi is about, please
attend any one of our GIM's during rush week to meet us and learn
more. Feel free to email us or contact one of the numbers on our
rush flyers. Again, there is absolutely no obligation in joining
when participating in rush, and everything is free!

Rush offers a perfect opportunity to explore all groups on campus and
become well acquainted with all groups before determining which one is
best for you. Our rush week is full of scheduled activities such as
mixers with other organizations, volunteer work, informationals, potluck
dinners, etc. Which allows the rushees and sisters to become acquainted
with each other while letting the rushees learn what binghamton akdphi
does as an organization.
Many
college women seek something more than classes and casual friends. Sorority
membership provides a lifetime of learning and involvement. Sororities offer
a warm and caring atmosphere that encourages individual development while
promoting sound scholarship, leadership ability, community outreach and
life-long
friendships. Sorority life will help you make the most of your college
experience as you join together with women who share your interests and
ideals
